How to Recover Your Account When You Can't Access Your Email
Your email address is important for logging in to eKool because we send two-factor authentication (2FA) codes to your email.
If you can’t access your email, you may not be able to log in — but there are still ways to recover your account.
Attention!
Always keep your email address and phone number up to date in eKool to avoid losing access to your account in the future.
If you use a school email
If your eKool account is linked to a school-provided email (for example, name@school.ee) and you can’t access it:
- Contact your school’s IT department, administration or class teacher.
- Ask them to help you regain access to your school email account.
- Once you have access to your email again, you can log in to eKool as usual.
Use a secure login method
You can use a secure login to log in to eKool:
- Smart-ID
- Mobile-ID
- ID-card
After logging in, go to Profile settings -> Contact data and switch your email.
Use your phone number for 2FA
If you have saved and verified your phone number in eKool, you can use it to receive the 2FA code:
- On the login page, choose to receive the 2FA code via SMS.
- Enter the code sent to your phone.
- After logging in, go to Profile settings -> Contact data and switch your email.
