Logging in to eKool

To use eKool, you first need to log in so the system can identify you.

You can choose from the following login methods:

  • ID-card, Mobile-ID, Smart-ID, or HarID
  • Username and password
  • Google, Microsoft or Eliis account

Some actions in eKool require secure, verified login:

  • Confirming consents
  • Assigning a student to grade 1 in Tallinn

Learn more in the article Secure Login to eKool.

Good to know!

If you have enabled two-factor authentication using an application, eKool will suggest it as the default method. You can switch to a different login method if needed.

Logging in with username and password

If you choose to log in with a username and password, follow these steps:

  • Enter your registered email address in the username field.
  • Click the Continue button.
  • Enter the password you set when creating the account.
  • A two-factor authentication confirmation will be sent to your email. Learn more here: Two-Factor Authentication (Email or SMS).
  • Open the confirmation email and approve the login.
  • Return to the eKool page and choose whether to trust the device. If you select Trust this device, you won’t be asked for two-factor authentication on that device for the next 30 days.

Good to know!

After creating your account, you must send a request to the school to gain access to data. You can request access either:

- as a parent to your child’s data, or
- as a student to your own data.

Additional login options

You can link your eKool account with the following services:

  • Google
  • Microsoft
  • Eliis

These options allow quicker and more convenient login, and can be used as an alternative to password-based login with two-factor authentication.
