Managing Opiq and eKool journals

If there are changes to the students linked to the journal (e.g., new students are added), the information in Opiq must be synchronized with the data in eKool.

  1. Open the journal in eKool
  2. Go to the section Show work plan/materials for this journal
  3. Click on the button Opiq
  4. The Opiq environment will open
  5. Click Update e-journal
  6. If necessary, select the Opiq role

Good to know!

If an Opiq session has been opened previously, the system will ask you to close the previous session in Opiq. You must close the previous session in order to continue.

 

Deleting a Journal

A Journal cannot be removed from Opiq by a teacher; only the school administrator can do this.

  • When a Journal is deleted in eKool, it is automatically removed from the Opiq environment as well.
  • Deleting a Journal from Opiq does not affect the Journal in eKool.
