Importing grades from Opiq to eKool

Opiq allows teachers to add grades that can later be imported into the eKool Journal — both in numerical and descriptive form.

Overview of work feedback in Opiq

To add a grade, open the student's work in Opiq and select the appropriate feedback type:

  • Score - percentage of correct answers. Calculated automatically.
  • Mark 1-5 - enter a grade on a scale of 1–5, half points are also possible (e.g., 3+, 5-)
  • Formative assessment - comments entered as free text
  • Other rating - e.g., A, B, C.

Importing Opiqu grades into eKool is successful if:

  • The eKool journal uses point-based grading, and Opiqus has added a grade with a percentage of performance (score).
  • The assessment systems are consistent – both Opiqus and eKool must use the same assessment scale (see Classificatory). example grades (1-5) and the percentage value of grades are exactly the same in eKool as in Opiqu

Attention!

Grades such as 5+, 5−, etc. cannot be imported if they are not permitted in the school's eKool grading scheme.
