Important for teachers to know when students are using Opiq learning materials.

Using Opiq digital materials with eKool is easy and convenient, but as a teacher, it is worth noting some important nuances, especially when it comes to assignments added to the journal.

An Opiq user account is not necessary for students

Students do not need to create an Opiq account. When a teacher adds an Opiq assignment to the journal:

• the assignment opens immediately when the student clicks on the permanent link in the journal;
• the student can log in to Opiq with their eKool account.

The student has an Opiq account with an email address that does not match the email address in eKool

If a student already has an Opiq account linked to a different email address than the one used in eKool:

• they will not automatically have access to Opiqu assignments added to their journal;
• to restore access, they must link their Opiqu account to their eKool account or use the permanent link in eKool.
