Schedule
The Lesson Schedule in eKool shows your daily teaching plan at a glance. From here, you can quickly add or edit lessons, homework, or assessments for each subject.
Empty state
There are two possible empty states:
- School hasn’t configured lessons in school settings - you'll see a blank page with “No lesson numbers defined”. Contact your school eKool administrator.
- Lesson numbers are defined, but no entries (lessons, homework, etc.) have been added yet - each lesson slot will show + Lesson.

Add Lesson, Homework or Assessment
You can add new content in two ways:
Method 1: From the Schedule view (empty or filled)
- Click + Lesson to open the Lesson Builder
- Date and lesson number are pre-filled
- Pick a journal you want to add a lesson to
- Fill lesson details: title, description.
- Add homework from same view if needed
- Click Save lesson or Save and duplicate to add another lesson
Good to know!
If Save and duplicate is used then last lesson created will be added to the schedule right away. The new lesson builder is reopened, this time date is prefield but a new lesson number is needed to be added.
After saving a lesson, two more buttons appear in schedule:
- + Homework
- + Assessment
These open the relevant modals for the same journal and date.
Method 2: From the journal drop-down
If there’s already a lesson added to the schedule, click the … next to journal name to:
- Add a Lesson
- Add Homework
- Add an Assessment
This lets you add multiple entries without opening the full journal view.
Good to know!
Same options will be shown in lesson block next to journal name if you clicked … .
